Choose the Marine Pathway to build the essential skills required for entry‑level roles in the marine industry. This pathway introduces you to HLSCC’s flagship Marine Professional Training (MPT) Level 1 programme, helping you develop core competencies in safety, seamanship, navigation, and service excellence. Selecting this pathway allows you to strengthen the foundational abilities needed to progress confidently within the Territory’s thriving marine and yachting sector

This pathway blends hands-on experience with technical training to make participants work-ready for the marine and yachting industries.  


Value: $5,990 in tuition and fees.

Choose the Construction Pathway to establish a solid foundation in key trade skills aligned with the NCCER Core Curriculum. This route develops your understanding of safety, tools, construction math, drawings, and employability skills, preparing you to advance into specialised trades such as electrical, carpentry, or plumbing. Selecting this pathway positions you to build the technical base needed for long‑term growth in essential, high‑demand construction careers.

This pathway is designed to produce competent, safety-conscious, and industry-ready professionals who can contribute to national infrastructure development.

Choose the Hospitality Pathway to strengthen the service and professional skills required for the global hospitality sector. Through the internationally recognised Les Roches Maître D Programme, this pathway builds your foundational abilities in fine dining service, beverage knowledge, guest experience, and professional communication. Selecting this pathway equips you with the core competencies needed to excel in hotels, restaurants, resorts, and the broader tourism industry that supports the Virgin Islands.

This certificate-granting pathway is designed to equip participants with the skills and confidence to excel in restaurants, resorts/hotels, and the broader tourism sector, supporting the Virgin Islands’ position as a premier destination.

Whether you are starting your career or transitioning into a new field, Let’s Build VI provides the training, support, and the opportunities needed to succeed. 

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be a BVIslander or Belonger 
  • Have a high school diploma, GED, or demonstrate literacy/numeracy readiness 
  • Be 17 years or older (applicants under 18 require parent/guardian consent) 

Applicants must submit: 

  • Two (2) character or personal references
  • A brief personal statement

  • A completed scholarship application form (uploaded, emailed or submitted in person)
